Job Summary:
Premier Health Express Urgent Care (PHEUC) is looking for an experienced, passionate radiology technologist to perform x-rays in our healthcare clinics. Preferably with strong background in clinical/MA/CNA experience
We have multiple locations, of which, we are looking to staff with technicians. Here at PHEUC we provide healthcare in numerous capacities: an urgent care setting, a primary care practice, and military disability/separation examinations with QTC.
As an x-ray tech, responsibilities would include performing all necessary x-ray imaging, in-office, for all types of visits. Our centers pride ourselves on working as a team.

Work Experience:
Preferred 3-6 months diagnostic radiology experience.
Licensure/Certification:
ARRT certified with current registration required. Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians required. CPR certification required with three months of employment.
Knowledge/Skills:
• Requires skill in performing radiologic examinations, both routine and semi complex. Knowledge is also required of various x-ray equipment and computers.
• Some analytical skill required for determining technical factors such as voltage, current and exposure times; checking equipment to ensure proper functioning; and analyzing equipment manuals for correct equipment operating procedures.
• Basic interpersonal and communication to instruct skills to instruct patients about procedures being performed. Additionally, must be able to assist in the instruction of rotating radiology students and assist less experienced Radiologic Technologist in performing more complex procedures.
• Manual dexterity required for adjusting machine controls and other supportive devices. Required to lift and position patients and equipment approximately 60% of time.
Medical Assistant (CMA)

Job summary:
The CMA has duties and responsibilities related to patient care in the ambulatory clinic environment. The individual displays responsible behaviors, communicates effectively to others and functions as a member of the healthcare team.
The CMA functions under the direct supervision and authority of the physician when performing patient care. The CMA reports to the clinic manager or lead nurse, who is responsible for the administrative supervision and orientation of the CMA to the area's policies and procedures.
• Obtains vital signs & assists patients in preparation for examination/ procedure.
• Records and documents in the medical record.
• Ensures safe & efficient patient flow.
• Administers medications and immunizations.
• Organizes the clinic environment to assure patient safety. * Reads & interprets medical records and physician orders.
• Reads & interprets equipment in conjunction with patient information.
• Displays responsible behaviors, communicates effectively to others and functions at the highest level based on scope of practice.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA or NRCMA) is required within the first 3 months of employment.
• The CMA must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care.
• Valid BLS CPR certification required upon hire; and recertification required every two years.
• Familiar with medical terminology and documenting in electronic health record.

Nurse Practitioner

Job summary:
The Nurse Practitioner provides diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow-up in a family practice setting while providing a wide range of primary care services which encompasses health promotion, injury and illness prevention, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of commonly encountered health problems and injuries, and acute and chronic health problems. Performs testing, referral to health care providers in the community as needed writes prescriptions and performs office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment. These services are provided within a holistic, patient care-centered framework to patients of all ages.
• Determines and assesses the health status of patients by reviewing records, taking comprehensive medical histories, performing physical examinations, reviewing lab work and other tests, and utilizing an electronic health record.
• Initiates, performs and directs other ancillary health care staff to perform or assist in screening and diagnostic testing, including blood, draws, cultures, skin tests, pap smears, and other procedures appropriate for patient's condition and within the scope of practice of health care staff member.
• Informs counsels and instructs individuals and families on their specific health problems, test results, and general health-related matters such as nutrition, birth control, social behavior, growth, and development, aging, and substance
• Acts as a clinical consultant to medical, nursing, paramedical personnel; consults and confers with a wide variety of health care providers, such as public health nurses, social workers, and mental health
