Ofundem Akoh-Arrey Nokuri, MD, FAAP Medical Director of Pediatric Medicine, CFO

Dr. Nokuri finished her undergraduate degree at Bowie State University in Maryland. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. After completing her pediatric residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, Dr. Nokuri went through additional training to become board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics.
Since Dr. Nokuri previously served as an emergency room pediatrician at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, she has an extensive background in urgent care diagnoses and treatments. Patients of Dr. Nokuri commend her caring and compassionate bedside manner, especially when caring for infants and young children. Dr. Nokuri strives to build lasting, lifelong relationships with each of her patients.

Jo-Ann Middleton,
FNP-BC, MSN, FNE-A/P Sane-A
Family Nurse Practitioner

Jo-Ann is a clinical nurse practitioner with 28 years of experience in the areas of emergent/urgent care/trauma/PACU/GI and forensic nursing for the adult, adolescent, and pediatric populations in many Baltimore/Washington metro area facilities including University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Howard County General Hospital (HCGH), Sinai Hospital, Union Memorial Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, and many others. Currently, works at HCGH where she developed the Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Assessment program for HCGH. She graduated from Simmons College in Boston, and is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Maryland Nurses Association, International Association of Forensic Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
Sophie
Therapy Dog

Sophie is a registered therapy dog, certified through Therapy Dogs International. She has joyfully accompanied her owner, Psychotherapist Barbara Malavite, to work in a variety of settings and is available to come to sessions with clients. She has been welcomed in multiple school systems, police departments, court rooms, libraries and nursing homes. Sophie provides unconditional love and support to clients of all ages and is in charge of monitoring an unruly dachshund and two cats at home.

Shant Doukmajian
X-Ray Technician

Shant is a native Marylander who obtained his degree as an X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant, from Brightwood College, California. Proficient as a medical assistant in adults and pediatrics. Truly passionate about making patients feel comfortable during x-ray procedures and provides compassionate care. In his spare time, Shant enjoys cooking, swimming and traveling.

Deja Wyatt
Receptionist

Deja grew up in PG County, Maryland and attended Oxon Hill Middle and High School where she had learned Spanish for three years. She is currently enrolled at Prince George’s Community College striving to earn her ASN and will continue her journey to graduate from Bowie State University with her BSN to become a Registered or Surgical Nurse. In her spare time she loves to listen to her favorite music artists, and visit amusement parks (when open for the season)

Samuel Nokuri, MD, MBA, FACP

During his undergraduate program at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Nokuri studied chemistry. After earning his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Nokuri completed his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in the Caribbean island of Dominica.
He then went through his residency training in internal medicine at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.
To ensure he keeps offering the latest treatments and solutions for his patients, Dr. Nokuri takes continuing education courses. He went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School in Baltimore.
Dr. Nokuri is currently board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also serves as a flight surgeon for the United States Air Force and Air National Guard out of Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.

Barbara Malavite
Behavioral Counselor (Columbia)

Barbara Malavite is a board certified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland as well a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor in the state of Ohio. She recently relocated from Ohio where she had received a dual Masters degree in both School Counseling and Clinical Counseling from Walsh University. Barbara has certification in trauma-informed practices and brings a diverse background of working with crisis, school systems, law enforcement/court systems and addiction treatment. She uses a holistic approach to treatment and believes that compassion and building a trusting relationship are important aspects of therapy. She has a registered therapy dog who has faithfully accompanied her on a daily basis bringing comfort to clients for over 6 years.

Isaac Esene
Medical Assistant

Isaac Esene is a certified EMT and CNA . He was born in Washington DC but he is a Prince George’s County Native . Isaac serves as a medic in the Air Force for the Air National Guard at Andrews AFB. He is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Health Science at Towson University. In his spare time , he enjoys working out , reading , and volunteering at his local fire department.

Amber Riggin

Amber Riggin is a Medical Scribe and Quality Assurance Representative for Premier Health Express Urgent Care QTC program. Amber has a great passion for veterans and ensuring they are comfortable and that their voices are heard when it matters most. She served in the United States Army prior to obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Human Services and attending Montgomery College for American Sign Language. She has an extensive background in logistics and Quality Assurance which she has obtained while managing Inventory Control for the surgical departments during her time at Holy Cross Health and the Washington D.C. VA Medical Center. In her spare time she enjoys making custom furniture and
reading.

Sharon Londeree, FNP-C
Columbia Clinical Director, Chief of Veteran Affairs, Family Practitioner

Sharon is a well-seasoned practitioner with 29 years of clinical and medical research experience. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and a graduate from Simmons College in Boston with her FNP-C. She is vastly experienced in emergent and critical care (ER and NICU) having clinical experience at Good Samaritan, Mercy Medical Center, Union Memorial Hospital, Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Franklin Square, and even as a private family nurse practitioner for an endoscopic microsurgical practice in Towson, Maryland. In addition to her passion for nursing and serving the community, she expanded her scope by performing several research studies as a co-investigator and research associate in clinical trials for gastrointestinal diseases such as Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis. She also is able and certified to perform medical examinations for the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Buprenorphine/Opioid Addiction Recovery Program. Sharon enjoys building strong, healthy relationships with her patients and will forever go above and beyond the call of duty for anyone in need.

Haley Schweizer PA-C
Chief of Community Engagement
and Physician Assistant

Haley Schweizer is a certified Physician Assistant. She was born in Newark, DE and attended undergraduate at The Johns Hopkins University, where she played Division I lacrosse and was both a captain and an All-American. She continued her lacrosse career professionally for the WPLL Fire. She graduated from Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant program. Prior to physician assistant schooling, Haley served as a physical therapy technician and did research in orthopedic surgery. She is energetic and passionate about serving other people. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, coaching lacrosse, reading, and eating pizza.

Katherine

Katherine is a Pre-Physician Assistant student at Wingate University with interests in emergency surgery. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Technician, and Medical Assistant who also volunteers at the local animal shelter and as a Crisis Counselor during her free time. Katherine is also an athlete, overcoming two knee reconstructions to play soccer for her university. Her passion for patient care and eagerness to improve her medical knowledge and skills are key in providing exceptional care for each and every one of our clients."

Noelia grew up in Maryland and attended Anne Arundel community college. She is currently working on finishing her BSN degree.
She aspires to pursue a career that is constantly helping others in a culturally relevant way.
She has been working for about 6 years in both palliative care and rehabilitation. In her spare time she loves to hike or pick up a great book. She is a cat Mom to a 2 year-old Calico.
